Job Description:

Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in financial systems and project delivery in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex finance-related IT projects across their full lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with quality standards. Experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define scope, goals, deliverables, resource requirements, timeline, and budget.

• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful delivery of all phases.

• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Liaise with sponsors, business users, and senior leadership to manage expectations and requirements.

• Maintain regular updates on status, risks, and deliverables across stakeholders.

• Manage personnel, tools, and other assets effectively to meet project needs.

• Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards through rigorous testing and reviews.

• Handle scope, timeline, and cost adjustments with documented approvals.

• Manage final deliverables, transition plans, and documentation for project closeout.

Professional Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management

• Strong experience managing Finance Systems projects

• Experience delivering at least 5 full project lifecycles (preferably in large/multinational organizations)

• Proficient in Waterfall and Agile methodologies

• Expertise in project planning tools like MS Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent

• Prior experience in insurance or financial services domains preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication across executive and team levels

• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities

• High degree of self-initiative and ability to work independently

• Effective time and resource management

• Skilled in problem-solving and creative decision-making

• Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments

• Strong documentation and change control discipline
