Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sap Test Lead to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP testing tools and methodologies, with a passion for ensuring applications meet scalability, reliability, and responsiveness standards under varying loads.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the overall testing strategy, scope, and objectives for SAP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
- Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and developers to plan testing activities aligned with project timelines.
- Design and review detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
- Execute system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing for SAP systems (S/4HANA and ECC).
- Lead a team of testers, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior testers and ensure adherence to best testing practices.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Solution Manager.
- Collaborate with developers and functional teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all testing activities within the project.
- Provide regular status updates, test summaries, and defect reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate test environment setup and test data preparation.
- Ensure availability and integrity of the testing environment before each test cycle.
- Ensure testing processes comply with internal standards, audit requirements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvements.
Professional Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP testing
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP modules: FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC testing projects
- Expertise in test case creation, execution, and defect management
- Proficient in SAP test data setup and test environment coordination
- Able to lead and deliver in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
