As our SAP practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced SAP Engagement / Delivery Manager to lead strategic SAP engagements and ensure successful delivery, strong customer relationships, commercial performance, and continued account growth.

Role Overview

The SAP Engagement / Delivery Manager will own the end-to-end delivery and health of SAP engagements, acting as the primary bridge between the customer, delivery teams, leadership, and commercial stakeholders.

The role combines delivery leadership, program governance, client relationship management, financial ownership, people leadership, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement & Delivery Leadership

• Own end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation, transformation, migration, upgrade, AMS and managed services engagements.
• Establish delivery governance, KPIs, milestones, quality gates, RAID management and escalation mechanisms.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and agreed quality/SLA standards.
• Drive resolution of critical delivery issues, dependencies and risks.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the senior delivery contact for customer stakeholders and business/IT leadership.
• Build trusted relationships and ensure strong customer satisfaction.
• Lead steering committees, governance reviews, status meetings and executive communications.
• Manage expectations, scope changes, escalations and difficult conversations effectively.

Commercial & Financial Management

• Own engagement P&L, revenue, margin, utilization, billing, forecast and resource economics.
• Track contractual commitments, change requests, scope creep and commercial risks.
• Partner with Sales and Account teams on renewals, extensions and expansion opportunities.
• Support pricing, estimation, SOWs and commercial proposals.

SAP Transformation Leadership

• Provide strong understanding of S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, SAP BTP, Business AI and SAP transformation programs.
• Provide delivery oversight for Greenfield, Brownfield/System Conversion, Selective Transition, upgrades and AMS engagements.
• Ensure architecture, solution and delivery teams remain aligned to the agreed transformation roadmap.
• Drive adoption of SAP best practices, Clean Core principles and modern delivery approaches.

People & Delivery Organization

• Lead multi-disciplinary, multi-location SAP teams across onsite and offshore delivery.
• Own resource planning, staffing, utilization, productivity and capability development.
• Mentor Delivery Leads, Project Managers and SAP functional/technical leaders.
• Build high-performing teams and establish clear accountability across workstreams.

Growth & Presales

• Partner with Sales and Solution Architects to identify and shape new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solutioning, estimations and customer presentations.
• Identify opportunities for cross-sell, upsell, managed services and transformation extensions.
• Contribute to account strategy and build long-term customer relationships.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of overall SAP / IT experience with significant experience in delivery or engagement leadership.
• Proven experience managing large SAP programs or multiple concurrent engagements.
• Strong experience across S/4HANA implementations, transformations, migrations, upgrades and/or AMS.
• Experience managing global customers and distributed delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP delivery methodologies, preferably SAP Activate and Agile/Hybrid delivery models.
• Demonstrated ownership of budgets, margins, revenue, utilization and commercial performance.
• Strong customer-facing, executive communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience supporting presales, proposals, account growth and business development.
• Experience with RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, BTP and SAP Business AI is highly desirable.
