Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Consultant to design, develop, and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions for enterprise-level data integration and migration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BODS, good understanding of data warehousing concepts, and integration experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BW, HANA, or other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using SAP BODS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Integrate data between SAP systems (ECC, BW, S/4HANA) and non-SAP sources.

• Work with flat files, databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA), and web services as sources and targets.

• Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure data quality and consistency.

• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather data requirements and perform data mapping.

• Conduct performance tuning of ETL jobs, SQL queries, and transformation logic.

• Analyze job execution and identify bottlenecks or failures in workflows.

• Schedule and monitor ETL jobs in production environments using scheduling tools or built-in features.

• Provide production support and troubleshooting during data loads or failures.

• Prepare technical documentation, job flow diagrams, and metadata definitions.

• Ensure solutions meet data governance, compliance, and security standards.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and design reviews.

• Collaborate with data architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
