Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP Basis Consultant to join our SAP technical team. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and maintenance of SAP systems and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration and a solid understanding of SAP architecture and infrastructure, including HANA and cloud deployments.

Key responsibilities:
 

• Administer SAP landscapes, including system copies, refreshes, and client management

• Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, and patches (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, etc.)

• Monitor system performance and perform tuning activities across SAP and database layers

• Manage and configure SAP Transport Management System (TMS)

• Maintain SAP kernel, database, and system health

• Administer SAP HANA or other supported databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)

• Set up and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) systems

• Support SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Coordinate with functional teams, security, ABAP developers, and infrastructure teams

• Apply SAP Notes and handle OSS messages in coordination with SAP support

• Ensure compliance with backup, patching, and security policies

Professional skills:

• 3–7+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience

• Strong expertise in SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, or ECC

• Proficient in database administration (SAP HANA preferred)

• Solid experience in OS-level administration (Linux/UNIX/Windows)

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (Monitoring, EWA, ChaRM)

• Familiar with cloud infrastructure for SAP (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Strong knowledge of SAP transport system and change management
