Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP BTP Consultant with experience in healthcare domain to design and develop innovative cloud-ready solutions using ABAP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role combines traditional SAP ABAP expertise with the modern SAP BTP ecosystem, including RAP, CDS, Fiori integration, and cloud extensibility. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to build scalable and maintainable solutions for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop cloud-ready applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) on SAP BTP

• Extend core SAP healthcare modules (e.g., SAP IS-H, S/4HANA Healthcare) through in-app and side-by-side extensions

• Create and manage CDS Views, OData services, and service bindings to support healthcare-specific Fiori applications

• Integrate SAP applications with external healthcare systems using REST APIs and secure communication protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR is a plus)

• Ensure solutions meet healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)

• Support data privacy, authorization, and audit logging requirements in cloud-based SAP extensions

• Collaborate with functional consultants, UI/UX designers, and system architects to deliver full-stack solutions

• Contribute to testing, deployment, and support in agile project delivery environments

Professional skills:

• 5+ years of ABAP development experience, including OO ABAP

• 1+ years of experience with SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk) and RAP

• Proficiency in developing CDS Views, OData services, and integrating them with Fiori/UI5 apps

• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP IS-H, or healthcare-specific SAP modules

• Experience working with SAP BTP tools (e.g., Business Application Studio, ADT in Eclipse)

• Familiarity with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills
