Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Enterprise / Software Architect who can design modern enterprise applications and guide engineering teams from solution concept through production implementation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across application architecture, cloud, integrations, APIs, security, identity, data and modern frontend/backend technologies. This role requires someone who can engage with business and technology stakeholders, understand complex requirements, make pragmatic architecture decisions and provide engineering teams with clear implementation direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise applications, platforms, portals and integration solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure solution architectures.

• Define architecture across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud services, authentication, enterprise integrations, messaging and observability.

• Develop high-level and detailed architecture designs and define appropriate technology stacks and patterns.

• Evaluate build-vs-buy and platform integration decisions.

• Design for scalability, performance, security, resilience and maintainability.

• Define cloud architecture, deployment models and environment strategies using Azure, AWS or GCP.

• Guide the use of managed cloud services where appropriate.

• Work closely with engineering teams throughout implementation and conduct architecture/technical design reviews.

• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Establish reusable architecture standards and patterns.

• Participate in customer workshops, technical discovery and solution discussions.

• Support prototypes, proof-of-concepts and enterprise-scale implementations.

• Guide teams adopting AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering / architecture experience with significant hands-on technical leadership.

• Strong enterprise and software architecture background.

• Strong practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience designing cloud-native and cloud-hosted applications, including cloud networking, identity, security, compute, storage and managed application services.

• Experience with one or more backend technologies such as .NET/C#, Java or Python.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or equivalent.

• REST APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture.

• SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Authentication, authorization, SSO and RBAC.

• Enterprise integration patterns.

• CI/CD, DevOps, containers and cloud-native deployment.

• Application security, logging, monitoring and observability.

• Performance, scalability and resilience engineering.

• Strong architecture documentation and communication skills.

Preferred / Additional Exposure

• Generative AI / LLM APIs, RAG solutions, AI agents or copilots.

• Azure AI / Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.

• LangChain / LangGraph or similar frameworks.

• MCP and tool-based integrations.

• AI-assisted software engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or Cursor.

Additional Note

AI experience is preferred but not mandatory. We value candidates who demonstrate curiosity and have personally experimented with emerging AI technologies.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. Candidates should be comfortable moving between architecture, coding, debugging, mentoring and customer-facing technical discussions.
