Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Solution Architect to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex data migration initiatives across enterprise applications, including ERP transformations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data architecture, legacy system analysis, migration tools, and governance, with a proven track record in delivering data migration strategies for large-scale digital transformation programs.

Expert Level experience with Redshift and Databricks.

Client is transforming its existing data lake, moving from Redshift to Databricks.

Need experience with Pre Sales

Professional Skills:

• Expertise in SQL and Data Engineering: Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and transformation, along with strong data engineering skills to design and implement data pipelines.

• Familiarity with Databricks and Apache Spark: In-depth knowledge of the Databricks platform and experience with Apache Spark for processing large datasets.

• Experience with ETL Processes: Strong background in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including the ability to migrate existing ETL workflows from Redshift to Databricks.

• Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, to effectively manage data storage and compute resources during migration.

• Data Governance and Security Awareness: Knowledge of data governance practices and security measures to ensure compliance and data integrity throughout the migration process.
