THE OPPORTUNITY

Tachyon is an AI-Native enterprise IT and professional services firm with offices in US and Hyderabad, India,

delivering across Digital, Services, and the Tachyon Aura platform. As our business scales across the US and India, we

are hiring a Corporate Counsel to be the company’s day-to-day legal partner — owning commercial contracting,

corporate governance, and compliance, and helping the business move fast without taking on undue risk. You will sit

close to sales, delivery, and leadership as the trusted counsel who keeps deals moving and the company protected.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Draft, review, and negotiate the full range of commercial agreements — customer MSAs / SOWs, NDAs,
• vendor, partner / reseller, subcontractor, and data-processing agreements.
• Own the contract lifecycle: templates, playbooks, fallback positions, approval workflows, and a clean, wellgoverned
• contract repository.
• Advise sales, delivery, and business leaders on deal risk — unblocking contracts quickly while protecting the
• company and preserving the client relationship.
• Support corporate governance and entity management across US (Delaware) and India entities — formations,
• filings, resolutions, and secretarial compliance.
• Own data-privacy, IP, and regulatory compliance for an AI-Native services firm — DPAs, IP assignment, and
• responsible-AI usage.
• Advise on employment and labor matters across US and India in partnership with HR, and manage disputes,
• demand letters, and outside counsel.
• Assess and communicate legal risk to leadership and escalate risk with clear, practical recommendations rather
• than legal jargon.
• Support partnerships, financing, and corporate structuring as the business scales, and help build the legal
• function’s processes and AI-augmented ways of working.

WHO YOU ARE

• LLB / JD with 6+ years across law firm and in-house roles — ideally at a technology, IT services, or SaaS company.
• Strong commercial-contracting expertise (MSA, SOW, NDA, vendor, partner) with the ability to negotiate
• independently.
• Solid grounding in corporate governance, entity management, data privacy, and IP.
• Familiar with US and India legal frameworks, and comfortable coordinating outside counsel across jurisdictions.
• Pragmatic and business-minded — you unblock deals and manage risk without slowing the business down.
• AI-forward — you use AI tools to accelerate contract review, research, and legal operations in an AI-Native firm.
