Business/Product Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business/Product Analyst who can work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to turn complex business needs into clear, buildable product requirements. The role requires strong facilitation, process analysis, backlog management, and acceptance-criteria skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to understand business goals, personas, journeys, workflows, rules, and pain points.
• Translate business needs into clear epics, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done.
• Identify must-have versus future requirements and help maintain scope discipline across releases.
• Document data requirements, business rules, integration dependencies, edge cases, and operational scenarios.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog in close partnership with product, architecture, engineering, and QA teams.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, UAT, sign-off, and release-readiness activities.
• Ensure requirements remain traceable from stakeholder intent through implementation and validation.
• Use modern AI-assisted analysis/documentation tools where appropriate without compromising requirement quality.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or comparable role.
• Strong experience with custom enterprise applications, digital products, workflow-driven solutions, or customer-facing platforms.
• Excellent skills in process mapping, requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies at a functional level.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative product-delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar collaboration/product tools.
• Exposure to enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, billing, document management, or service-management platforms.
• Product Owner, Scrum, or Business Analysis certifications are a plus.
