The Opportunity:

As a Solution Engineer at Tachyon, you sit at the point where a client’s problem becomes a working solution. Partnering with sales and delivery, you will scope, design, and demonstrate AI-Native and agentic-automation solutions — turning enterprise pain points into compelling, technically sound proposals. Based in Dallas and working with US enterprise accounts, you will be hands-on with our AURA platform and the wider AI stack, and you will be the technical voice clients trust in the room.

Required Qualification:

3–4 years in solution/sales engineering, pre-sales, technical consulting, or a hands-on, client-facing delivery role.

Strong technical foundation — you can design a solution and, when needed, build the demo yourself.

Hands-on with AI/ML, agentic automation, or modern data platforms; you speak credibly about how they solve business problems.

Experience with enterprise platforms (SAP, Salesforce, cloud data/AI stacks) is a strong plus.

Excellent communicator and presenter — you make complex technology clear and compelling to any audience.

Commercially aware — you understand how technical decisions map to value, effort, and cost.

Self-directed and comfortable in a fast-moving, lean environment.

Based in or able to work from the Dallas, Texas area; willing to travel to client sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with sales as the technical lead through discovery, solutioning, and deal pursuit for enterprise accounts.

Translate client business problems into clear solution architectures across AI, agentic automation, data, and enterprise platforms (SAP, Salesforce, and similar).

Build and deliver compelling demos, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes — often on Tachyon’s AURA platform — that show real, working AI, not slideware.

Lead technical presentations, workshops, and deep-dives with client stakeholders from practitioner to executive.

Own the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and security and architecture questionnaires.

Scope effort, define solution boundaries, and shape statements of work in partnership with delivery leadership.

Serve as the bridge between sales and delivery — ensuring what is sold is what can be built and delivered.

Stay ahead of the AI and agentic-automation landscape and bring new solution patterns back to the team.

Capture reusable demo assets, reference architectures, and solution playbooks that scale across the sales team.

Represent Tachyon’s technical credibility at industry events and in customer briefings.
