THE OPPORTUNITY
As Tachyon’s Head of HR, you will build the people function from the ground up — establishing the culture, systems, and processes that will carry us through our next major growth phase. This is a rare opportunity for an HR leader who wants to move fast, make real decisions, and leave a lasting organizational imprint.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and own the full HR function: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, L&D, compliance, and culture
- Partner directly with the CEO to define and execute people strategy aligned to business growth targets.
- Lead end-to-end hiring for India GDC across technology, delivery, sales, and support functions.
- Design and implement compensation bands, appraisal cycles, and career frameworks.
- Establish HR policies, an employee handbook, and compliance practices across India and the US, aligned with employment law.
- Build a culture of accountability, inclusiveness, and high performance — one that attracts top talent.
- Own employee engagement, retention programs, and pulse initiatives
- Serve as the go-to people leader for managers and employees; build trust across the organization.
- Implement and administer HRMS/ATS systems to bring data and efficiency to HR ops
WHO YOU ARE
- 8–14 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/head-of-role role
- Experience in a technology services, or consulting firm — fast-paced environments strongly preferred.
- Proven builder — you have set up HR functions or significantly re-architected one.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally; you don’t wait for someone else to fix things.
- Strong command of India labor law, compliance, and HR best practices; US exposure is a plus.
- Excellent communicator and influencer at all levels — from floor to boardroom
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent; SHRM/CHRP certification is a plus.
