Job Summary:

We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Architect to design, develop, and implement analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data visualization, business intelligence, and BI platforms. You will work closely with various teams to deliver data-driven insights and enable data-informed decision-making throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture

• Design scalable and efficient BI architectures that meet business requirements.
• Define and implement robust data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure that BI solutions are in line with enterprise data strategies and governance policies.

Development and Implementation

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Optimize BI reports for performance and usability.
• Integrate BI with various data sources, such as SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and other cloud platforms.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to team members and stakeholders.

Governance and Security

• Implement BI security models, including row-level security and user access control.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI features and industry trends to enhance solution capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in BI development and architecture and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Power BI: Expertise in creating dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations.
• SQL: Strong ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
• DAX & M Query: Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and M query language.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, especially in the context of BI solutions.
• Integration: Experience integrating Power BI with tools like SharePoint, Excel, or custom APIs.
• Qlik to Power BI: Experience with Qlik and the conversion process from Qlik to Power BI.
• MS Fabric: Experience with MS Fabric Power BI architecture design and configuration.
