Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD/EDI Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes along with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integration. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to design, implement, and support SD processes and EDI interfaces within the S/4HANA landscape.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA SD modules (Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Billing, Delivery, Shipping).
• Manage EDI setup and integration with external trading partners, customers, and suppliers (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs)
• Support business requirements gathering and translate them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers to design and test custom enhancements, IDoc processing, and error handling.
• Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) and resolve issues in coordination with business teams.
• Ensure smooth migration of legacy ECC SD/EDI processes into S/4HANA environment.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Work with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, PP, WM) for seamless end-to-end business process integration.
• Document functional designs, configuration settings, test scripts, and training material.

Professional Skills:

• 8+ years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SD configuration (Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management).
• Proven experience with EDI implementation & support (IDoc configuration, ALE, partner profiles, mappings).
• Deep understanding of OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes and integration with FI, MM, and WM.
• Experience in troubleshooting EDI/IDoc failures and coordinating with external partners/vendors.
• Knowledge of interfaces, middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI), and third-party EDI tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
