Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure network solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in firewalls, network security tools, and secondary proficiency in core routing, switching, and load balancing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain firewall policies and security controls to protect enterprise infrastructure.

• Manage and support core routing and switching functions to ensure network stability and performance.

• Configure and optimize load balancers for application delivery and traffic management.

• Implement and manage network security tools, including Cisco ISE, Duo MFA, and Linux-based security servers.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex security and network issues.

Professional Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet).

• Working knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP preferred).

• Proficiency in load balancer technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix ADC).

• Experience with identity and access management tools such as Cisco ISE and Duo.

• Hands-on Linux server administration for network/security functions.

• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

• Relevant certifications (CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent) preferred.
