Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP development tools and technologies, including ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, BDC, LSMW, and SmartForms. You will be responsible for technical design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions in alignment with business requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP and other SAP development tools.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements.

• Work on performance tuning and optimization of existing SAP programs.

• Implement user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and enhancements as required.

• Support data migration efforts using tools such as LSMW, BDC, and custom programs.

• Design and develop SAP reports (ALV, classical, interactive) and interfaces.

• Integrate SAP with third-party systems (e.g., using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and APIs).

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in project planning, testing, and go-live support activities.

• Debugging, Analysing, and improving standard objects.

• Code optimization, Performance tuning, and Runtime Analysis

Professional Skills:

• Good knowledge of ABAP 7.x coding standards and using ABAP Development Tools.

• Detailed experience in ABAP CDS views with UI5 annotations, OData, REST/JSON, XML (including debugging)

• Experience in CDS Frameworks using ABAP PROGRAMMING MODEL FOR SAP FIORI (CAP-Cloud Application Programming Model & RAP-RESTful ABAP Application Programming model)

• Integrations: Using BAPI, RFC, IDOC, WSDL, PI Proxies and OData REST APIs

• Hands-on development experience of RICEF objects in both ABAP on HANA and Core ABAP

• Deep ABAP development experience including ABAP on HANA & ABAP OO development

• Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots

• Hands on experience of tools like Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Studio (Eclipse) & GIT

• Experience with new S/4 HANA Extensibility Frameworks/ Extensibility techniques ( Key User )

• Experience with Fiori Free style App development / RAP Developments
