Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Engineer with experience supporting and managing Oracle Forms-based applications in a Windows environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and security of Windows servers while also managing deployments and troubleshooting of legacy Oracle Forms/Reports applications. This dual role involves system administration and application-level support within a highly available production environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022)

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects

• Support the deployment, patching, and performance tuning of Oracle Forms and Reports on Windows

• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

• Collaborate with DBAs and application developers to support Oracle-based systems

• Troubleshoot Oracle Forms/Reports issues related to the Windows server environment

• Maintain documentation for server configurations, application dependencies, and deployment procedures

• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell or scripting tools

• Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Participate in upgrade and migration projects involving both OS and application stack

Professional skills:

• Familiar with managing virtualized Windows Servers using platforms like Hyper-V or VMware.

• Proficient in deploying and managing various Windows Server versions (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).

• Skilled in configuring and maintaining Active Directory, including users, groups, OUs, and GPOs.

• Strong knowledge in setting up and managing Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) services.

• Experienced in applying system updates, service packs, and security patches using tools like WSUS or SCCM
