Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer IV to join our Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Web 2.0 technologies and web communication protocols and will be responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications. This individual will play a critical role in automating and optimizing business processes through innovative ServiceNow solutions and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow application enhancements and solutions.

Maintain and optimize ServiceNow instances in line with enterprise architecture and business goals.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for ServiceNow solutions.

Document system architecture, workflows, and technical solutions.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality and performance of ServiceNow implementations.

Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for applications and enhancements.

Ensure adherence to application development lifecycle practices, including code reviews, version control, and deployment processes.

Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms as needed.
Professional Skills:

Strong expertise in Web 2.0 technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.).

Proficiency with web communication protocols (REST, SOAP, HTTP/S).

Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including modules like Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and custom applications.

Experience in designing and implementing workflow automation within ServiceNow.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.

Working knowledge of SQL and database querying.

Experience with Hypercare support or live system stabilization phases.

Prior experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party platforms and tools.

Exposure to version control systems and DevOps practices in ServiceNow environments.
