Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, container orchestration, and DevOps practices. You will play a key role in driving cloud strategy, supporting development teams, and ensuring optimal performance and security of cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture that is secure, scalable, and cost-effective using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and updates.

• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance controls.

• Lead migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments.

• Manage and orchestrate containers and microservices using Kubernetes, Docker, or equivalent tools.

• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and security teams to support application development and deployment.

• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization of cloud environments.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide tier-3 support as needed.

• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption of relevant tools and services.

Professional Skills:

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar

• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server administration

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

• Proficient in scripting languages: Bash, Python, or PowerShell

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog

• Understanding of cloud networking, load balancers, DNS, and VPC configurations

• Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, PCI)
