Job Description:

This Scrum Master role at TCH is expected to be adept and effective in fostering an effective and productive environment for the assigned scrum teams by guiding teams to adapt agile values, manage teams’ impediments, and coaching team members. The Scrum Master will have an in-depth knowledge and experience with complex IT solutions, Agile and Scrum Methodology, a proven track record of working with scrum teams and serves as a key resource within the team to ensure overall team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Certified Scrum Master

• Proficient with Jira and Confluence; experience with Miro is a plus

• 5+ years of IT management experience in software analysis, design, development, documentation, implementation, and testing

• 3–4 years of experience specifically as a Scrum Master

• Demonstrated success working with Agile Scrum teams

• Skilled in evaluating and proposing alternative designs for complex, mission-critical systems

• In-depth knowledge and application of Agile principles and methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Capable of working across all levels of management and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Professional demeanor with a collaborative mindset

• Self-starter who is highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic

• Experience in banking and payments systems, including SWIFT, FED, CHIPS, or ACH

• Background in wholesale or retail banking technology

• Experience with cloud migrations or development in platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Technology to enhance agility within scrum teams

• Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues within the scrum team

• Ensure compliance with Agile processes and maintain proper documentation of artifacts

• Manage and report project status, including budget/financial tracking

• Keep senior management informed of project progress and escalate issues promptly

• Manage multiple scrum teams simultaneously.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for task completion and detail orientation.

• Influence and align stakeholders and team members toward successful outcomes.
