Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join our team for an onsite engagement at our client’s location in Universal City, LA, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP HCM with deep expertise in the payroll module, including configuration, processing, and compliance with US payroll regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Implementation and support of SAP HCM Payroll solution

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze payroll requirements

Design and configure Payroll schemas and rules to meet business needs.

Ensure payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with local/state/federal regulations.

Manage payroll cycles including pre-processing, payroll run, post-processing, and reporting.

Support year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and reconciliation.

Conduct unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.

Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Document functional specifications, configuration, and system changes.

Collaborate with other SAP HCM modules such as Time Management and Personnel Administration as needed.
Professional Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or related field.

5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM with a strong focus on US Payroll.

Proven experience in end-to-end payroll implementation and support projects.

Strong understanding of payroll schema and PCR customization.

Experience with payroll taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other statutory requirements.

Familiarity with integration to third-party systems (e.g., tax filing, time systems).

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to work independently onsite with minimal supervision.
