Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Onshore SAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP UI5 (mandatory) and optional experience in ABAP development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) to design and deploy scalable UI5 applications. This role involves close collaboration with onshore functional and technical teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance, and maintainable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modern user interfaces using SAP UI5 and Fiori design guidelines.

• Build, deploy, and maintain SAP UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE and SAP BAS.

• Integrate front-end applications with SAP back-end systems via OData services and SAP Gateway.

• Collaborate with onshore technical leads and functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing SAP applications.

• Ensure code quality, reusability, and performance optimization while adhering to SAP development best practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives (if Agile methodology is followed).

Professional Skills:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

• Strong experience with SAP Web IDE and SAP BAS for UI5 development and deployment.

• Proficiency in developing and consuming OData services for SAP UI5 applications.

• Solid understanding of SAP Fiori architecture, design principles, and Launchpad configuration.

• Working knowledge of Git/version control systems and CI/CD best practices for SAP application deployment.

• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for UI5 applications.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• (Optional) Experience with ABAP development for back-end enhancements and customizations.
