Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Consultant/Developer to design, implement, and optimize Field Service Management Solutions using the Salesforce FSL platform at Hitachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Service Cloud and hands-on experience with the end-to-end implementation of FSL features including workforce management, work order management, scheduling, mobile app configuration, and asset tracking. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, service teams, and technical partners to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or contribute to the design and implementation of Salesforce FSL for field service operations.
- Analyze service operations and translate business needs into FSL configurations and customizations.
- Implement FSL features such as:
- Work Orders & Service Appointments
- Scheduling & Dispatching
- Mobile App Configuration
- Skills & Territories
- Service Reports & Knowledge Integration
- Configure and customize FSL Dispatcher Console, Service Territories, Operating Hours, and Resource Management.
- Integrate FSL with external systems such as ERP, Inventory, and Customer Portals.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define user stories and solution architecture.
- Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, flows, and process builders.
- Create robust documentation including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and platform governance.
- Conduct training and enablement for dispatchers, technicians, and other end-users.
Technical Skills:
- Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL): Hands-on experience in setup, configuration, and deployment.
- Salesforce Service Cloud: Cases, Entitlements, Knowledge Base, and Omni-Channel (preferred).
- Custom Development: Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Flows, Visualforce.
- Mobile FSL App: Configuration, offline support, custom mobile flows.
- Scheduling Optimization: Knowledge of Scheduling Policies, Service Objectives, Gantt Charts, and Dispatcher Console.
- Integration Tools: REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware (MuleSoft experience is a plus).
- Deployment & Testing: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Copado or Gearset, and test automation.
