Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful professional to serve as a Salesforce Developer & Consultant specializing in Warranty Management. This unique hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce development and architecture, coupled with strong consulting and advisory skills. The ideal candidate will be a key player in optimizing our warranty processes, providing expert guidance on best practices, and delivering a seamless and efficient warranty experience for our customers and internal teams. You will serve as the trusted advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring that our Salesforce implementation for warranty is robust, scalable, and strategically aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Consulting & Solution Design: Work closely with warranty and service teams to understand their business challenges and goals. Provide expert advice on leveraging Salesforce to optimize warranty claim processes, parts management, and reporting. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed design specifications.
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions for warranty management on the Salesforce platform. This includes building and maintaining Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages.
- Warranty Process Optimization: Configure and customize Salesforce to manage the entire warranty lifecycle, including claim creation, validation, approval workflows, parts tracking, and financial reconciliation. Advise on and implement best practices for warranty process automation and efficiency.
- Integrations: Lead and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., ERP, FSM, and other third-party applications) using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration patterns to ensure accurate data flow for claims, parts, and customer information.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and ensure development standards and best practices are followed. Serve as the subject matter expert on the Salesforce platform for the warranty management team.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Design and build custom reports and dashboards within Salesforce to provide key business insights on warranty claims, trends, and costs. Use data to recommend improvements and support strategic business decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and/or Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools, including Flows, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
- Demonstrated experience in a consultant role, including requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder management.
- Proven experience in designing and executing Salesforce integrations.
- Familiarity with warranty management processes, including claim submission, adjudication, and financial reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts and business solutions effectively.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud
- Knowledge of Salesforce Field Service (FSL) or other field service management solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
