Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Controlling (FICO) Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, particularly within the S/4HANA environment, and a strong grasp of both Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes. You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and enhancement of finance and controlling modules across various business functions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure the finance system supports the organization’s goals and is compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end SAP FICO implementations and S/4HANA migrations.

• Configure and enhance SAP FI modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.

• Configure and enhance SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

• Conduct workshops with business users to understand requirements and map them into SAP solutions.

• Design and implement solutions leveraging Universal Journal (ACDOCA) in S/4HANA.

• Collaborate with integration teams across MM, SD, PP, PS, and HR modules.

• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.

• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

• Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), data validation, and cutover activities.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.

• Maintain documentation, conduct knowledge transfers, and provide end-user training.

Professional Skills:

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules.

• Deep knowledge of Universal Journal, New GL, and Account-based CO-PA.

• Configuration expertise in:

  • Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting

  • Product Costing and Actual Costing

  • Internal Orders and Allocations

  • Asset Accounting (including parallel ledgers and depreciation areas)

• Experience with Fiori apps, Embedded Analytics, and CDS Views.

• Understanding of S/4HANA innovations, simplifications, and best practices
