Job Description:
The Assistant Manager – First Line Compliance is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations adhere to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role acts as the first line of defence by overseeing compliance in financial transactions, operational processes, and service delivery, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with operational and process controls, service delivery standards, fraud risk assessments, client contracts, and organizational policies

Provide support and guidance to operations during internal and external audits.

Act as an independent reviewer to ensure that compliance concerns are appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.

Identify areas of potential compliance vulnerability and develop corrective action plans to address issues.

Provide regular and ad-hoc compliance reports to senior management, highlighting progress and risks.

Conduct employee education and training programs on compliance requirements and best practices.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen compliance standards.
