Job Summary:
The Salesforce Practice Lead will be responsible for leading Tachyon’s Salesforce practice, ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce projects, and providing high-quality application management services (AMS). This role focuses on strategic planning, team management, delivery quality, and expanding Salesforce capabilities to meet evolving client needs. The ideal candidate will have deep Salesforce expertise, a client-centric approach, and a proven track record in managing Salesforce delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Practice Management:
- Build and lead the Salesforce practice, driving growth and enhancing capabilities across Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Develop and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for consistent, high-quality project delivery.
- Manage resource planning, team development, and upskilling to align with market demands.
Project Delivery Oversight:
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of Salesforce implementation, migration, and integration projects within scope, on time, and on budget.
- Establish robust governance structures, monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and address issues promptly.
- Ensure successful project outcomes and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Application Management Services (AMS):
- Lead AMS delivery, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents, system stability, and high customer satisfaction.
- Implement SLA-driven processes to optimize support activities.
- Drive continuous process improvements and adopt automation tools to enhance AMS efficiency.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their Salesforce needs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client engagements by introducing additional Salesforce solutions and services.
- Collaborate with clients to define strategic roadmaps aligned with their business objectives.
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Drive initiatives for practice growth, including business development, pre-sales, and proposal creation.
- Partner with sales teams to identify new Salesforce opportunities and develop competitive solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging Salesforce technologies to keep the practice competitive.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and profitability of Salesforce projects and AMS engagements.
- Track financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and profitability targets.
Collaboration Across Teams:
- Work closely with cross-functional and global teams to deliver integrated solutions effectively.
Professional Experience:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years in Salesforce practice, pre-sales, delivery and AMS management.
- Expertise in Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience) and familiarity with CPQ, FSL, Einstein, and other Salesforce products.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end Salesforce implementations, migrations, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and SLA-based service delivery.
Professional Skills:

- Hands-on experience in pre-sales, business development, and proposal creation.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Certified Technical Architect) are highly preferred.
